Every now and then, a composer has the fortune of experiencing a new piano melody effortlessly flow from fingers to piano. Is it the closest encounter we musicians receive—as a free-flowing waterfall, thawing after a much needed spring thaw? I think so. Still, the Sun Shines was one of those priceless moments for me.

I dedicate this piece to my wonderful wife of 33 years.

I love how, together, we lift each other up. No matter what may come our way, we show up.

Holding each other, we chase down our dreams, knowing, trusting, that Still, the Sun Shines, as we choose to enjoy our Enduring Love.
